## Directions for Use

**Testing Instructions:**

1.  **Preparation:**

    * Allow the test device, specimen, and/or controls to reach room temperature (15-30°C) before testing.
    * Instruct the donor not to place anything in their mouth (including food, drink, gum, or tobacco products) for at least 10 minutes prior to collection.
2.  **Test Setup:**

    * Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test device from the sealed pouch and use it within 1 hour.
    * Remove the device cap and collect the oral fluid specimen as follows:
        * **Important:** Place the absorbent wick against the upper and lower jaws and the roots to enrich the oral fluid.
        * Insert the sponge end into the mouth and actively swab around the gums on both sides (10-15 times) to assist with saturation.
        * Place the absorbent wick under the tongue to collect oral fluid. Wait until the flow appears in the test windows (approximately 60 seconds), then remove the device and start the timer.
        * If no flow appears, repeat the procedure from the beginning until the flow is visible. If no flow appears after repeating the steps three times, discard the device, review the procedure with the donor, and repeat the test with a new device.
3.  **Testing:**

    * Place the test device on a clean, level surface.
    * Read the result between 3 and 10 minutes:
        * If all lines are clearly visible within 3 minutes, interpret the test as negative and discard the device.
        * If any lines are not visible at 3 minutes, re-read the test at 10 minutes.

* * *

**Interpretation of Results:**

* **Negative:** A colored line appears in the control region (C) and another colored line appears in the test region (T). This indicates the drug concentration in the oral fluid is below the designated cut-off levels for the specific drug tested.

    * _Note:_ The shade of the colored lines in the test region (T) may vary. A faint line in the test region should still be considered negative.
* **Positive:** A colored line appears in the control region (C) and no line appears in the test region (T). This indicates the drug concentration in the oral fluid sample is higher than the designated cut-off for the specific drug.

* **Invalid:** No line appears in the control region (C). This is likely due to insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques. Review the instructions and repeat the test with a new device. If the result is still invalid, contact the manufacturer.
## Warnings

**Important:**

* A positive test result does not indicate the concentration of the drug in the specimen or the route of administration.
* A negative result does not necessarily mean the specimen is drug-free. The drug may be present below the assay’s cut-off level.
* The test does not differentiate between drugs of abuse and certain medications.
## Storage

**Storage and Usage Instructions:**

*   Store between 2°C and 30°C.
* Do not use beyond the expiry date.
* Keep the test in its sealed pouch until ready for use.
