## KARICARE APTAMIL GOLD PLUS INFANT FORMULA 900G

Breastfeeding is best for babies - Please read this notice – breast milk is best for babies: Professional advice should be followed before using an infant formula. Introducing partial bottle feeding could negatively affect breastfeeding. Good maternal nutrition is important for breastfeeding and reversing a decision not to breastfeed may be difficult. Infant formula should be used as directed. Proper use of an infant formula is important to the health of the infant. Social and financial implications should be considered when selecting a method of feeding.

**Overview**  
Nutritionally complete for formula fed infants 0-6 months. Unique blend of ingredients to nutritionally support the immune system. Fish oil to help support brain and eye development.  
  
**Directions for use**  
Wash hands before preparing the feed. Sterilise all utensils by boiling or using an approved steriliser. Boil safe drinking water & allow to cool. Measure the required volume of cooled, boiled water into a sterilised feeding bottle. Warm to feeding temperature. Use only the enclosed scoop. Fill the scoop lightly & level off using the built-in leveller. Avoid compacting powder. Always add one level scoop of powder for each 50mL of water. Cap the bottle & shake briskly to dissolve the powder. Test temperature on wrist before feeding. Feed immediately (do not store). Discard unfinished feeds.  
WARNING: FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY. PREPARE BOTTLES & TEATS AS DIRECTED. DO NOT CHANGE PROPORTIONS OF POWDER EXCEPT ON MEDICAL ADVICE. INCORRECT PREPARATION CAN MAKE YOUR BABY VERY ILL. INFANTS OVER 6 MONTHS SHOULD BE OFFERED FOODS IN ADDITION TO INFANT FORMULA.  
  
**Ingredients**  
Milk solids (whey protein, skim milk, lactose),  
vegetable oils (contains soy oil), galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS)  
from milk, dried omega 3 & omega 6 LCP oils (fish oil \[tuna\],  
arachidonic acid oil, sodium caseinate, antioxidants \[sodium  
ascorbate, ascorbyl palmitate, mixed natural tocopherols,  
dl-alpha-tocopherol\]), long chain polyfructose, emulsifier (soy lecithin), acidity regulator (calcium hydroxide & potassium  
hydroxide), choline chloride, taurine, inositol, carnitine.  
Vitamins: (A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, D, E, K1), beta-carotene, folic acid, biotin.  
Minerals: Potassium, calcium, chloride, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, iodine, manganese,  
selenium.  
Nucleotides: Uridine 5’ - monophosphate, cytidine 5 ’-  
monophosphate, adenosine 5’ - monophosphate, inosine 5’ -  
monophosphate, guanosine 5’ - monophosphate.  
Aptamil® Gold+ Infant Formula is based on whey dominant cows’ milk proteins.  
  
**Contraindications and cautions**  
Storage: Store in a cool dry place. Use by the date on container bottom. After opening, keep container airtight & use contents within four weeks. Some settling of the powder may occur. Dental Hygiene: Putting your baby to bed with a bottle can cause tooth decay. Encourage your baby to drink from a cup from 6-8 months.
