## Description

Melrose Premium Liquid Coconut Oil is derived from coconut plantations in the Philippines and is made up of mostly medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). Liquid coconut oil is produced through a process called fractionation, which removes the long-chain fatty acids, keeping the oil liquid at room temperature. ‘Fractionated’ coconut oil is made up of mostly medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). These fatty acids are easy to digest and provide a source of energy.  An everyday cooking oil alternative.

A versatile oil that can be used for all types of cooking and desserts. Melrose Premium Liquid Coconut Oil has a mild nutty flavour and minimal aroma which compliments any cuisine. When to use this oil? Cooking at low temperatures and perfect for desserts. Smoke point - low. Can be heated to approximately 160°C.
