## Description

This easy to apply, non-greasy odourless Nurofen gel helps provide temporary relief from pain & inflammation associated with soft tissues injuries like; sprains, strains and sports injuries.

It contains 5% w/w ibuprofen - well-known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Nurofen Gel contains ibuprofen and is absorbed into the skin to get to work where it’s needed.
## Ingredients

Ibuprofen 5% w/w 

Contains benzyl alcohol 1% w/w (preservative)   
Alcohol
## Directions for Use

When first opening the tube, break the seal, pressing it against the point hidden in the top of the cap. 

**Adults and children over 12 years:** Squeeze 4-10cm of gel onto the affected area then replace the cap. (This represents 50-125mg of ibuprofen).

Gently rub in the gel until it is absorbed - then wash your hands.

Do not reapply more gel within 4 hours. Do not use with an air tight dressing. Do not apply it more than 4 times in 24 hours.
## Warnings

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Incorrect use could be harmful. Keep out of reach of children. 

For external use only. This product is meant for short term use only, if pain persists beyond 7 days please consult your healthcare professional. Keep the affected areas away from strong sources of natural or artificial light. Do not use on broken skin, on the lips or near the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

**Do not use if:** you are allergic to any of the ingredients, ibuprofen, aspirin or anti-inflammatory medicines, if you have a stomach disorder or ulcer, if you have impaired kidney or liver function, if you have heart problems, if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.

**Unless your doctor has told you to:** do not use in children under the age of 12, with other medicines you are using regularly, if you have asthma or are taking any other medicines, including those containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines, if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant.

If you have an allergic reaction, stop use and see you doctor immediately. Contains benzyl alcohol 1% w/w as a preservative. Contains alcohol.
## Storage

Store below 25°C. Do not freeze.
