## Description

Otrivin Plus Nasal Spray with xylometazoline hydrochloride and ipratropium bromide is a dual-action formula that unblocks the nose and stops a runny nose.

The xylometazoline helps to open and clear nasal passages by reducing swollen blood vessels and the ipratropium bromide reduces mucus production.

Otrivin Plus Nasal Spray provides relief of a blocked and runny nose caused by colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis. May also help relieve sinus pain and pressure.
## Ingredients

Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 0.5 mg/mL and Ipratropium Bromide 0.6 mg/mL
## Directions for Use

**Adults 18 years and over:** 1 spray in each nostril, up to 3 times daily, as needed. Do not use more often than every 6 hours. Do not exceed 3 applications per nostril per day.

**Instructions:**

*   Clear your nose
*   Remove protective cap
*   Before the first application prime the pump by actuating 4 times. Once primed the pump will normally remain charged throughout regular daily treatment periods. Should the spray not be ejected during the full actuation stroke, or if the product has not been used for longer than 7 days the pump will need to be reprimed with 4 pumps.
*   Hold bottle upright with thumb under base and nozzle between two fingers
*   Lean forward slightly and insert the nozzle into the nostril
*   Spray and breathe in gently through the nose at the same time.
*   Repeat with the other nostril
*   Clean and dry the nozzle before replacing the cap right after use.

Be careful not to spray in the eyes or mouth. If product gets in eyes rinse with cold water and consult a doctor if pain or blurred vision occurs.
## Warnings

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist, please contact your healthcare professional.

For nasal use only. If you use too much or in case of accidental ingestion contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Do not use for more than 3 days at a time unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist. Frequent or prolonged use may cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen. Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience sudden severe headache. If you experience problems with vision, dizziness or fatigue while taking this product do not drive, operate machinery or take part in activities where these symptoms may put yourself or others at risk.

**Do not use** in children under the age of 18, if you are allergic to xylometazoline, ipratropium, atropine or similar substances; if you have had a recent operation through the nose or mouth (including brain surgery and removal of the pituitary gland); if you have narrow angle glaucoma; if you have inflammatory nasal dryness; If irritation occurs or if you have signs of allergy discontinue use. Do not use around the eyes or if use by date has expired. Read enclosed leaflet carefully.

**Ask a doctor before use:** if you are breastfeeding; suffer from high blood pressure, heart disease, overactive thyroid, diabetes, or phaeochromocytoma; enlarged prostate gland; problem urinating; cystic fibrosis; are taking or have taken anti-depressants in the past 2 weeks; have any other medical conditions; are taking other medicines.
