It is suitable for children above the age of 2 years and is a well-tolerated formula. ## Ingredients **Each 5 mL of Prospan® for Children oral liquid contains** 35 mg Ivy leaf extract Hedera helix (EA 575) equivalent to: 43.75 mg/mL dry leaf Prospan® for Children 5 mL contains 1.9 g sorbitol. This product does not contain sucrose, gluten, tartrazine or any other azo dyes. ## Directions for Use **Age Dosage Frequency** 2-5 yrs 2.5 mL 3 times per day 6-9 yrs 5 mL 3 times per day 9-16 yrs 5 mL 3 times per day Adults 5-7.5 mL 3 times per day Australian Government regulation requires healthcare professional consultation when purchasing cough / cold medication for children under 2 years of age. ## Warnings Always read the label. Follow the directions for use. If symptoms or coughing persist, talk to your health professional. Keep out of reach of children. Prospan contains sorbitol and potassium sorbate. Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
