## Description

**Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AAKG)** is a powerful compound designed to help you train with increased intensity. AAKG is formed when the amino acid L-Arginine is bonded to alpha-ketoglutarate, a precursor to the amino acid L-Glutamine.

L-Arginine is a naturally occurring amino acid found in foods like cottage cheese, oatmeal, beef, and chicken. Its primary role in this context is as a precursor to nitric oxide (NO) production in the body.

AAKG is a common ingredient in many pre-workout and nitric oxide supplements due to its potential to enhance workout performance. It is believed to offer superior absorption compared to standard L-Arginine, which may lead to more efficient nitric oxide production.

## Directions for Use

Add 3g of AAKG with cold water or juice and take 1- 2 times daily. For maximum nitric oxide effect, AAKG is best taken directly before training.
## Warnings

Diabetics should use caution when using AAKG. It has been noted that when blood vessels dilate, glucose levels can drop dramatically, and for most people, this is simply replenished from liver stores. Diabetics, however, don't have islet cells so the body won't detect the drop and the potential is there for a massive "hypo state" that could last for hours. If you are type 1 diabetic and using AAKG, you may find a much greater need for high GI carbohydrates around this time. We suggest consumers with diabetes consult their healthcare professional before using this product.
