## Description

Maltofer Iron tablets help treat dietary iron deficiency in adults/ adolescents where the use of ferrous iron supplements is not tolerated or is otherwise inappropriate.

It has fewer and milder side effects compared to ferrous iron supplements, therefore you experience lesser nausea and constipation, while still getting an effective dose of iron.

Maltofer iron is absorbed by the body in an active and controlled manner. The active ingredient in the syrup ensures your body only absorbs the iron that it needs and when it is needed.
## Ingredients

**Each tablet contains** 100mg iron as 370 mg iron polymaltose.
## Directions for Use

**Treatment of iron deficiency in adults and adolescents (Children ≥ 12 years)**

Take 1-2 tablets daily preferably with food, or higher doses as directed by your medical practitioner.

**Prevention of iron deficiency in adults and adolescents (Children ≥ 12 years)**  

Take 1 tablet daily preferably with food, or higher doses as directed by your medical practitioner.

The tablets can be consumed with water.
