At Healthylife, we’re here to help make health simple. You can now purchase many prescription medicines from Healthylife Pharmacy via our website.

Please note that items will be dispensed at the discretion of Healthylife Pharmacy and subject to availability. This does not include Schedule 8 products.

How to order using an electronic prescription 


It is as easy as 1,2,3! Simply

  1. Go to our Healthylife website and select your prescription item (type the item name into the search bar to make it easier)
  2. Have your electronic prescription token handy and insert the token when prompted.
  3. Proceed to the checkout and have your Healthylife Pharmacy medicines delivered to your door. 

Please note that for paper prescriptions, Healthylife Pharmacy still requires the physical paperwork in their possession, so you will need to post it to your nearest Healthylife Pharmacy store - find your closest store here. All paper prescriptions will need to be posted in the mail and received by Healthylife Pharmacy before dispatching your order.

What is an electronic prescription?

Nowadays, when you visit your doctor, you can choose to receive an electronic prescription, rather than the traditional ‘paper-based’ script. As the name suggests, this script is electronically generated and sent by your doctor to your mobile phone or computer. Your electronic prescription is the same as a traditional script, and you can use this to have your medicines ordered from Healthylife Pharmacy via Healthylife! No need to worry about remembering where you stored your script!

How do electronic prescriptions work?

Once your doctor gives you an electronic prescription, you will be sent an encrypted 'Token’. This is an electronic message with a QR code sent to your mobile phone (SMS message or via any apps you may have) or computer (via your email account). The token will provide you with an electronic prescription ‘code’ which you enter into the system when you proceed through the checkout process. You will receive one token for each item prescribed by your doctor. 

Do you accept a script via a photo?

No, Healthylife Pharmacy does not accept photos of prescriptions. Please contact us for help in this regard. 

How do repeats work for electronic prescriptions?

This is really easy! When you have repeats on your script, Healthylife Pharmacy will send you a new token for your next repeat. Then simply order your repeat script the same way you ordered the first time around.

Can I use a paper prescription to order?

Yes absolutely! Nothing changes with the current paper prescription system, and we will still need the physical copy of that paperwork in our possession before we can dispense the medication. This is where we can see how much faster Electronic Prescriptions will be, with no more waiting for the paperwork to arrive in the post to us.

Are electronic prescriptions safe and secure?

Standards require that electronic prescriptions must meet a high level of both privacy and security. Only you and the pharmacy can unlock the token.

How many times can I use an electronic prescription token?

An electronic prescription token can only be used once for a single medication. If you have repeats on your script, you will be issued another token code by the pharmacy. Delete the token each time you use it, so you do not get mixed up with ones that are no longer valid once used.

What if I lose my electronic prescription token?

In this case, you need to contact Healthylife Pharmacy, who will help you. 

What happens if I accidentally enter an invalid electronic prescription token code?

If you enter an invalid electronic prescription token code you will be contacted by Healthylife Pharmacy. Healthylife Pharmacy will either need to get the valid token code from you, or offer you a full refund for that item.

Can my doctor send the electronic prescription directly to you?

No, the doctor has to send the electronic prescription token to you, and then you provide it to the pharmacy.

Do you keep my electronic prescriptions in your system?

Standards require that electronic prescriptions must meet a high level of both privacy and security. Only you and the pharmacy can unlock the token. Healthylife Pharmacy will be required to store your electronic prescription history in their dispensing systems as per required processes. Healthylife will not store your electronic prescription history. 

Can I access my previous escripts through you?

An electronic prescription token can only be used once for a single medication. It cannot be re-accessed once it has been used. If you have repeats on your script, you will be issued another token code by the previous issuing pharmacy.

Can I use another person’s electronic prescription or on behalf of another person to order from Healthylife Pharmacy?

What happens if my product is not available but I have entered my electronic prescription?

Healthylife Pharmacy will contact you if this occurs and will help work on a suitable solution if possible.

Can I use my electronic prescription somewhere else after I use it on your site?

An electronic prescription token can only be used once for a single medication. It cannot be re-used once it has been fulfilled.
