ALLEVYN Gentle Border Lite Dressings include a gentle silicone gel adhesive, a thin hydrocellular foam core, and a breathable REACTIC waterproof top film that lasts up to 7 days.
Features and benefits
- Suitable for use on fragile or sensitive skin where low to moderate absorbency is required.
- Dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days reducing the need for frequent changes and allowing the wound to heal undisturbed.
- Waterproof REACTIC top film allows showering2 and acts as a bacterial barrier preventing fluid, bacteria and dirt from entering the wound.
- The hydrocellular foam core balances absorption and retention to create a moist wound healing environment.
- Gentle silicone wound contact layer is non-adherent to the wound, minimally disruptive to healing tissue, low-allergenic, and provides secure adhesion.
- Can be applied on difficult to dress areas like joints, while minimizing skin trauma and pain upon removal.
- Gentle silicone allows the dressing be lifted and repositioned.
