Certain ultra-drying acne treatments and medications cause high levels of desquamation (shedding of the top layer of the epidermis) and reduce the amount of oil produced by the skin. This causes the skin barrier to become compromised, and strong itching sensations and redness can occur. Sébium Hydra compensates for these secondary effects and lastingly nourishes skin to ease continued treatment. The Fluidactiv™ patent rebalances remaining oil and ensures a healthy skin barrier.

  • Fluidactiv™ patent combines active ingredients with strong antioxidant power to help prevent oil thickening and resulting blocked pores.

  • Ceramide 3, xylitol and glycerin provide nourishing and moisturising benefits to help recreate the protective film.

  • Soothing enoxolone and allantoin calm discomfort and reduce redness caused by a compromised skin barrier. Skin dryness, scales and redness are visibly reduced, creating clear, comfortable and radiant skin.

  • Patented DAF™ complex helps strengthen the skin's tolerance threshold against triggers.

Sébium Hydra contains a light, hypoallergenic fragrance to improve product usage and hide undesirable smells commonly associated with acne- and oil-fighting ingredients. All NAOS fragrances are safe for sensitive skin and have undergone rigorous testing and analysis to ensure they are free from allergens and are perfectly defined, traceable and reproducible.

  1. Corneometry on 10 volunteers aged 28 to 65, with dry to moderately hydrated skin, for 8 hours.

  2. Usage test on 20 volunteers aged 20 to 45, with dry to very dry sensitive skin, for 7 days.

  3. Observational multicentric study conducted in France by 133 dermatologists on 344 subjects aged 18 to 54, suffering from light to moderate facial acne under acne treatment, for 12 weeks.
