WHAT OUR EXPERTS SAY
Product Overview
Caruso’s Vitamin K2 supports bone health
Your skeleton is almost completely renewed about every ten years via a complex and highly organised metabolic process involving specialised cells called osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Osteoblasts help move Calcium into your bones, and osteoclasts move Calcium out of your bones and into your bloodstream.
Vitamin K2 plays an important role in the production and activity of osteocalcin, a protein secreted by osteoblasts. Osteocalcin binds Calcium and incorporates it into your bones (a process known as mineralisation). Caruso’s Vitamin K2 helps to support bone mineralisation and increase the metabolism of Calcium in bones.
In addition to its bone health benefits, Caruso’s Vitamin K2 also maintains heart health and supports the health of your arteries and other blood vessels.
Here’s good news on how you may help and maintain healthy bones! Osteoblasts found in the bone produce a Vitamin K2 dependent protein called Osteocalcin. Osteocalcin binds calcium absorbed from your diet to your bone matrix, helping to build healthy bones. Vitamin K2 helps maintain bone strength, mass and integrity by supporting bone mineralisation. Vitamin K2 maintains calcium absorption and metabolism in bones, supporting bone building. Additionally, Vitamin K2 maintains a healthy cardiovascular system, including a healthy heart and blood and cardiovascular functions.
Caruso’s Vitamin K2 health indications:
• Maintains bone health
• Helps support bone mineralisation
• Helps increase metabolism of calcium in bones
• Maintains heart and artery health
• Supports cardiovascular system health
