## Description

**Coloxyl Glycerol Suppositories for Adults** work directly at the source by gently drawing water into the stool, providing relief in as little as 15 minutes. ## Directions for Use

Insert one **Coloxyl Glycerol Suppository for Adults** into the rectum as needed to effectively treat constipation in adults and children over 12 years.

**Usage Advice**  
**How to use:**

1.  Remove the suppository from the blister pack and peel off the outer film.
2.  You may lubricate the tip of the suppository with water or a water-soluble gel to aid insertion, although this is not required.
3.  **Step 1:** Lie on your side and draw your knees toward your chest.
4.  **Step 2:** Gently insert the suppository, pointed end first, as far as possible. Angle the end slightly to ensure contact with the bowel wall.
5.  Lower your legs to a comfortable position to help hold the suppository in place. Try to keep it in place for at least 15-20 minutes, if possible. It is not necessary to remove the suppository or wait for it to fully melt to achieve effective results.
## Warnings

Do not use in children under 12 years of age. Do not use if you have a bowel obstruction. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. While using this product, effective management of constipation should include drinking plenty of water and increasing the amount of fibre in the diet. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice. Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence.

For rectal use only. Not to be swallowed. Keep out of reach of children.
