Product Overview

Fixomull Stretch Retention Tape is a hypoallergenic, soft conforming adhesive tape. It is a wide area adhesive tape, useful for frequently mobile and contoured parts of the body.

The backing material of the tape is made of stretchable non-woven polyester (fabric tape), coated with a hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive. The adhesive is very well tolerated by the skin and alleviates skin trauma when taping.

Fixomull stretch tape is transversely stretchable and adapts well to highly contoured parts of the body, preventing constriction, congestion, and disturbances of blood circulation.

Fixomull Stretch is porous, allowing for the evaporation of perspiration. It is also radiotransparent, so it does not need to be removed for either radiotherapy or X-ray examinations.

The product can be cut to the required size, which means it can be tailored to protect the entire wound dressing against contamination.

The dressing can be used for device and dressing adhesion, regular shoulder strapping and taping, and patellofemoral pain (taping of the knee).

Can be used by patients with sensitive skin.

Applications:

  • Device and dressing retention
  • Regular shoulder strapping and taping
  • For Patellofemoral pain (taping of the knee)

Benefits:

  • Porous – allows for evaporation of perspiration
  • Polyacrylate adhesive mass is very well tolerated by the skin and alleviates skin trauma when taping.
