Description:
Flo Post Operative Kit is designed to aid recovery post-surgery. It may help to clear the nose and sinus cavities after nasal or sinus surgery.
Each kit includes 4-6 weeks of treatment and comes with a sinus wash bottle and 70 sachets of pre-mixed powder designed to optimise recovery after surgery.
This kit contains a non-medicated, preservative-free irrigation solution for washing both the nasal passages and sinus cavities. Flo Post Operative Kit is helpful during the recovery period after nasal or sinus surgery because it is:
- a gentler sinus wash
- an isotonic formula
- pH neutral.
When sterile (pre-boiled) water is added to a sachet of Flo Post Operative powder, it produces a solution which closely resembles the body’s own tissue fluids. It is also designed to deliver a high volume of irrigation solution at a low pressure, to improve the effectiveness of washing the nose and sinus cavities.
Ingredients:
FLO Post Operative Sachet when reconstituted with 200ml of water very closely resembles the composition of Locke-Ringer’s solution. It consists of Sodium chloride 0.772% w/v Potassium Chloride 0.042% Calcium Lactate Pentahydrate 0.032%, Sodium Bicarbonate 0.015%, and glucose anhydrous 0.085%. It is an isotonic solution with a pH of between 7.2 – 8.0
Usage Directions:
FLO Post Operative is recommended for use prior to and following surgery. Use as often and for as long as directed by your ENT Surgeon.
Using this large volume of solution helps wash the nasal passages, sinus cavities and the back of the throat to gently remove excess mucus and optimise recovery. Use as directed by your health professional to relieve nasal and sinus congestion.
