Mepilex Border Flex Lite is a thin, absorbent, self-adherent foam dressing featuring 360° Flex Technology for improved flexibility and comfort.
Mepilex Border Flex Lite is designed to manage a wide range of non- to moderately exuding wounds, including leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and traumatic wounds such as abrasions, blisters, and skin tears. It can also be used to protect compromised or fragile skin.
This dressing features Safetac silicone adhesive, a clinically proven technology that minimizes damage to the wound and surrounding skin during removal, reducing pain during dressing changes.
The innovative 360° Flex Technology allows Mepilex Border Flex Lite to conform in all directions, reducing skin stress, enhancing comfort, and keeping the dressing securely in place. Its conformability is up to 4 times better than that of Mepilex Border Lite.
The dressing’s smart exudate management system, with its unique 4-layer design, absorbs and channels exudate away from the wound bed, enabling exudate tracking without disturbing the wound.
Mepilex Border Flex Lite provides an optimal balance of exudate absorption and moisture vapor loss, maximizing exudate management for non- to moderately exuding wounds.
Mepilex Border Flex Lite is suitable for:
- Non- to moderately exuding wounds
- Leg and foot ulcers
- Pressure injuries
- Surgical and traumatic wounds (e.g., abrasions, blisters, and skin tears)
- Protection of compromised or fragile skin
