Product Overview

It is commonly known that DHA is an essential fatty acid required in our diets and supports brain development in infants*, however it’s less known that as a triglyceride molecule, DHA has 6 double bonds attached to it and the position of each double bond has different properties and effects in the body.

When it comes to absorption in the body, DHA at the sn-2 position can enter the brain and of the DHA found in breastmilk, 52-65% is located at the sn-2 position.
Furthermore, DHA located at the sn-2 position oxidizes slower over time, which makes it a highly stable form of DHA.

Our DHA contains up to 25% more sn-2 DHA than common algal DHA, making it a great choice for your growing baby. You also get the added peace of mind that our DHA is sustainably sourced from wild-type algae grown in an enclosed system. It's also vegan friendly.

As mums, we know the importance of clean formulas that provide peace of mind for new mums and their growing babies. That's why our Nova formulas are sugar free, contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and are free from common allergens including dairy, egg, fish, gluten, tree nuts, peanuts and soy.

We also know that supplementing infants can sometimes be tricky - especially if you are trying to juggle a wriggly baby whilst trying to measure out a syringe or trying to hide an overpowering flavour in bland baby food or milk.
Our easy to dose liquid droppers are adaptable for your own needs - mix with food, breastmilk, formula or milk/alternatives or directly onto your nipple whilst feeding.
