Product Overview
Sebamed Feminine Intimate Wash pH 3.8 is free of soap and alkali and is specially formulated to keep vaginal flora balanced. This intimate wash is suitable for women from 15 to 50 years of age.
There are two stages in a woman’s life, and two solutions.
When a young woman starts to menstruate the hormone level of estrogen starts to rise in the female body and the pH level of the genitals starts to go down to a more acidic pH value of 3.8. This pH value is balancing the micro flora to protect the vagina, especially during pregnancy. This protection lasts throughout the fertile years. During and after menopause the pH level increases to 6.8 due to the reduction of estrogen levels.
Sebamed Feminine Intimate Wash pH 3.8 is an organically based wash that supports the natural balance of female intimate micro flora to help protect against odour formation. Gentle enough for daily use, this non-irritating formula naturally soothes and moisturizes with botanical bisabolol (the active ingredient of camomile) and aloe vera.
