Xylocaine Jelly 2% 30g


Xylocaine 2% Jelly is a topical fast acting anaesthetic that is used to help prevent pain and discomfort during certain medical tests and procedures.

This ointment usually provides between 20-30 minutes of numbing whilst simultaneously acting as a lubricant.

Some of the procedures where it is used are urinary catheterisation, endoscopic procedures etc. Xylocaine 2% Jelly is applied before procedures, and it can also be applied to the end of medical instruments to lubricate and help reduce friction.




Lidocaine Hydrochloride 20mg/g

Usage Directions:

The maximum dose of Xylocaine 2% Jelly is 30 mL (600 mg) in any 12-hour period – one mL of jelly is approximately equal to one gram of jelly


Store below 25°C.


Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Do not use this medication without talking to a healthcare professional. Keep out of reach of children.

Do not eat or drink within 60 minutes of using xylocaine jelly, within the mouth or throat area. Use only on medical advice. Absorption from mucous membranes is relatively high, excess xylocaine jelly should be removed. Contains hydroxybenzoates.

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery. 

Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
