Nicotinell patch step 3, 7mg, assists you in your journey to a smoke free life. It works, by reducing your nicotine dose slowly. The program is designed to be executed in a 3-step format. Each step has its own specific patch to suit your needs through the program. The dose of nicotine delivered through the patch decreases as you progress.
Step 1 - consists of 21mg patches, for people who smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day. Patches with this strength can be used daily, for 3 to 4 weeks before progressing to step 2.
Step 2 - consists of 14mg patches, for people who smoke less than 20 cigarettes a day. Patches with this strength can be used daily, for 6 to 8 weeks before progressing to step 3.
Step 3 – consists of 7mg patches, which helps with those last stages of your smoke free journey.
NOTE – Each patch can be worn for up to hours at a time, before requiring a change. The mg dosage indicates the amount of nicotine that would be gradually released in that 24-hour period.
