How to use:

Adults: Take 1 capsule by mouth ONCE per day or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. 

 

Warnings: 

• Do not take this supplement if you are allergic to grape or wine.
• Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this supplement if you have a bleeding disorder or are taking blood thinners or anticoagulants.
• Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet. 

 

Drug Interactions: 

Some medicines may interact with trans-Resveratrol. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines before taking this supplement:

• Blood thinners such as Warfarin, Aspirin or Clopidogrel
• Some antidepressants: Amitriptyline, Citalopram, Fluvoxamine, Phenelzine (Nardil), Tranylcypromine (Parnate)
• Calcium channel blockers for heart disease such as: Diltiazem and Verapamil
• Chemotherapy medicines to treat cancer

 

Side effects:

Orally, Resveratrol is generally well tolerated.

Resveratrol may cause mild gastrointestinal discomfort, loose stools, or diarrhea when taken in relatively high doses greater than 1000 mg per day.
