Product Overview

Stratamed is a self-drying full contact flexible wound dressing which provides an optimal environment for faster wound healing. Stratamed provides symptomatic relief from itching, burning and discomfort, as well as reduces redness and swelling.

It is a wound dressing in a gel format. Stratamed dries to form a thin and flexible protective film which remains in constant contact with the damaged skin.

Stratamed is a breakthrough in post procedure care. Stratamed can be used immediately after procedures and allows prevention of abnormal scarring to begin earlier than ever before.

Stratamed may be applied to open wounds, burns and areas where skin integrity has been compromised.

Stratamed is used for:

  • The protection and hydration of superficial wounds, burns and compromised skin.
  • The prevention and treatment of keloids, hypertrophic and excessive scars.

Stratamed protects the compromised skin from microbial invasion and does not promote bacterial growth.

Stratamed may also be used in conjunction with invasive scar management options to improve overall results, including surgical excision and resuturing, intralesional steroid injections, laser treatments and pressure garments.

Stratamed is suitable for children and people with sensitive skin.

Stratamed may be used on infants, during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

No measurable pH value contains no alcohol, parabens, or fragrances.

Stratamed was developed for use on all types of superficial wounds, burns, skin tears and abrasions including those resulting from:

  • General and cosmetic surgery
  • Trauma
  • 1st and 2nd degree burns
  • Bites
  • Grazes
  • Laser therapy, including tattoo removal.
  • Chemical peels
  • Dermal abrasion
  • Cryotherapy
  • Acne and other diseases of the skin

How much Stratamed do you need?

Stratamed gel is a unique formulation that requires substantially less product per application than typical moisturizing creams or barrier ointments.

Stratamed is recommended for immediate treatment post procedure and should be continued until the skin has fully recovered.

Stratamed 10g is enough to treat a 5-8cm linear incision twice per day for over 90 days.
