The wound pad should overlap the margins of the wound by approx. 1– 2 cm. Surrounding skin should be dry before applying HydroTac transparent comfort with adhesive border.

Remove the blue protective layer following the numbering (1 & 2), place the dressing with the gel-impregnated side on the wound and press down the adhesive edges firmly. Remove the protective top layer following the numbering (3 & 4).

Can be left on wounds up to seven days.

Store away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

Seek medical advice immediately for all serious wounds or injuries, or if redness or discomfort occurs. This product is not a substitute for direct medical attention from a healthcare practitioner.

Always read the label, use only as directed. If symptoms persist, see your healthcare practitioner.

Do not use HydroTac transparent on patients with an intolerance to any of its ingredients, especially polyurethane, glycerin or acrylic based adhesive. Do not use on wounds which are clinically infected or on 3rd degree burns.

As any other medical device, this product can have side effects, which do not necessarily occur for everybody.

General side effects of HydroTac transparent:

• In rare cases HydroTac transparent might cause local reactions (irritation, skin reactions e.g., redness, swelling)
• In rare cases HydroTac transparent might cause allergic reactions

Special precautions:

Medical assessment of the condition of the wound and the causes of any delay in wound healing is necessary before treating wounds with impaired healing. Treatment with HydroTac transparent cannot replace treatment of the cause of impaired healing.

Reusing a single-use medical device is dangerous. Reprocessing devices, to reuse them, may seriously damage their integrity and their performance.
