Product Overview

Betaglucare Oat Hearts, are made from oats, rich in beta-glucan. Beta-glucan when eaten daily may help reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol & blood glucose levels after meals.

Betaglucare is also rich in fibre so it's great for gut health and it's also a low GI food. It's so easy - just one sachet a day as part of your daily routine. When you eat the product, the beta-glucan forms a thick gel in the gut which binds with bile acid containing ‘bad’ cholesterol’. This reduces the reabsorption of ‘bad’ cholesterol and consequently lowers the blood cholesterol levels.

Furthermore, when Betaglucare reaches the stomach, it forms a viscous gel which forms a thin layer inside the small intestine, and this slows down the uptake of carbohydrates. This leads to lower postprandial blood glucose and lower blood insulin after eating.

These high quality Scandinavian oats, have a pleasant taste and are ideally eaten for breakfast. It can also be consumed on its own with milk or you can add fresh fruit, yoghurt, or your favourite breakfast cereal.
