Prontosan Wound Gel with PHMB 30ml

Description:

Prontosan Wound Gel is intended to cleanse and moisten the wound bed and for the management of minor cuts, abrasions, lacerations, and minor burns. It can be used during wound dressing changes to soften encrusted wound dressings.

Ingredients:

Prontosan Wound Gel contains: Glycerol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, 0.1% Undecylenamidopropyl Betaine, 0.1% Polyaminopropyl Biguanide (Polyhexanide [PHMB]), Purified Water. PHMB at a concentration of 0.1% w/w is added to the product as a preservative to inhibit growth of microorganisms within the product.

Usage Directions:

Rinsing and cleaning the wound and surrounding area is recommended prior to application of Prontosan Wound Gel. Prontosan Wound Irrigation Solution can be used for this purpose. Refer to cleaning solution instructions for use. Apply an even coating of Prontosan Wound Gel directly to entire wound. Prontosan Wound Gel can be used to sustain wound moisture for the duration of time between dressing changes.

Storage:

Store at room temperature. Avoid excessive heat. Do not refrigerate or freeze.

Warnings:

Always read the label. Follow the directions for use. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. For external use only.

Seek medical advice immediately for all serious wounds and burns, or if redness and discomfort occur.

Do not use if you have an allergy to one or more of the ingredients.

Do not use on exposed cartilage.

Do not use or mix with other cleansers, soaps, lotions, or ointments.

For external use only on skin wounds.

Do not use for infusion or injection.

Do not swallow.

Do not use in the eye.

How Do Returns & Refunds Work?

All products you buy from the Healthylife website are covered by the Healthylife Returns Policy.

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery. 

Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
