Lotus Bicarb Soda is used in cooking and baking as a leavening agent and to neutralise the acids in recipes. Use it in cakes, bread, muffins and pizza bases.

What’s the difference between baking powder, baking soda and bicarb soda?
Bicarb soda is the same as baking soda. A pure, alkaline leavening agent that’s commonly used in recipes that mix moisture plus an acidic ingredient, like lemon juice, chocolate, buttermilk or honey, together to make the batter rise.
Baking powder is bicarb soda pre-mixed with an acidic ingredient, like cream of tartar, that causes baking to rise when mixed with wet ingredients.

Bi-carb soda can be used to make baked goods rise and convert plain flour or a flour you have blended yourself into a self raising flour. For every cup of flour add 1/4 teaspoon of bi-carb soda. It is also an effective deodoriser and alternative to chemical household cleaning products. Taken by some as an alkalising drink in water, used as a hair rinse in place of shampoo with diluted apple cider vinegar as conditioner, or used in baths and foot soaks.Warnings:

If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Allergic Reaction
- In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.
Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.
Incorrect / Damaged Items

If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
